What happened in class today, honey?

I had a small acute myocardial infarction this afternoon.

(I think I've been hanging out with medical students too long....)

There I was...minding my own business...getting ready for physio when I realized that my freaking computer would not charge and my world came crashing down because ohmygodmyadapterisfreakingbroken.

Now, a normal US resident would say, "don't worry, I'm sure Best Buy or its equivilent will save me".

I live on A. Freaking. Island.

Thus I found myself at BJ's [insert dirty joke here] Electronics this afternoon begging some sadly unattractive ghostly white Asian Boy to pleasepleaseplease fix it NOW!

And he was all, "sorry."

Which is approximately when my mind snapped.

(just kidding.)

Actually, I just forked over an ungodly sum to buy what may or may not have been a legally obtained Dell charger and which may or may not have cost me double what it would have in the States.

But my computer has since recovered from the shock of power loss and I can now access my facebook email important class notes with ease.

So who freaking cares.
