Marriott Madness!

My folks came down this past week and to welcome them all of my friends graciously accompanied them to the Marriott Resort where they were staying.

We ate well, drank well (hmmm, most of us anyhow), and baked to a nice golden tan.

And at the risk of sounding way too small-minded, might I say it was very different to be in a place where we were no longer the minority. It was also, however, sad to realize there are many people who travel to resorts such as these and never see the natural beauty, history and culture inherent in these islands.
